Payment

At Specialist Pain Physio Clinics treatment can be paid for by:

1. Private health cover with an appropriate authorisation from your insurer. You usually need a referral from your consultant or GP. Please ensure that you have been authorised otherwise you are liable for the fees.

2. Self-pay. Please note that we take payment on the day of the treatment, either cash or cheque.

3. Medico legal cases (individual arrangements are made for these cases)

Private Health Insurance

If you have private health insurance you may have physiotherapy treatment covered as part of your arrangement. You should always check with your insurer as you will be liable for any shortfall. It is likely that you will need a referral from your GP or Consultant to gain approval for physiotherapy.

Richmond Stace is registered with the Health Professions Council (PH66856) as a physiotherapist and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists. Richmond is approved by the major health insurers to provide physiotherapy including BUPA, Aviva, Cigna, Standard Life, Simply Health, PRU Health, WPA, Allianz and others.

Self-pay

If you are paying for your treatment yourself we ask that you make payment on the day of the assessment or follow-up. We currently accept cheque and cash payments. Please note that you do not need a referral if you are self-funding. However, we will make contact with your GP and/or consultant in order to maintain communication unless there is a specific reason why you wish us not to do so.

Cancellation: please note that you are required to give at least 24 hours notice for cancellation otherwise the full fee will be charged.
